Awards & Grant Winners

2025 Superintendent Scholar Awards

Four exceptional seniors from Everett Public Schools were recently surprised with the prestigious 2025 Superintendent’s Scholarship Award for Excellence. Superintendent Ian Saltzman, School Board Vice President Jen Hirman, Deputy Superintendent Peter Scott, Executive Director Kay Fantin of the Everett Public Schools Foundation, and school principals honored the recipients in special ceremonies held at their respective schools.

Now in its 38th year, the Superintendent’s Scholarship Award for Excellence celebrates the district's top scholars for their academic achievements and resilience while also recognizing an inspirational educator who has made a significant impact on each student’s journey. Each winner received a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Drs. Gary and Sue Cohn.

To be considered, students must rank in the top 5% of their graduating class and submit a tribute highlighting a staff member who has played a pivotal role in their education. These heartfelt tributes were transformed into moving video features available on the Everett Public Schools Foundation’s social media platforms.

2025 Scholarship Awards

Everett Public Schools Foundation is pleased to announce the following scholarship recipients for the graduating class of 2025 from Everett, Cascade, H.M. Jackson and Sequoia High Schools. Scholarships are set up in memory or honor of many individuals and groups by their families and friends, our community and business partners.

To our seniors following career pathways in state, out of state, or even out of the country, we are happy to support you on your academic and career journeys!

2025 Classroom & DEI Grant Winners

Congratulations to our 2025 classroom grant and DEI grant winners

In 2025, the Everett Public Schools Foundation received 73 classroom grant applications—and thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to fund 61 of them across 24 schools. These grants are making a difference for more than 16,053 students, providing a total of $46,442 in support for innovative classroom learning.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Friends of Mill Creek Library, who funded every grant involving books, and to the Mill Creek Garden Club, who funded all classroom garden-related grants. Their combined contribution of $12,166 will have a lasting impact on our students and teachers for years to come.

Your support makes stories like these possible. To help us continue empowering our amazing educators and enriching student learning, please consider making a donation today.
